Blog Info

Layout

Here is a quick overview of how this blog is set up.

Navigation

The blog is pretty simple: on the top, there is a search bar that can be used to find something specific. On the left, there is a small menu with different pages. On the homepage, posts can be found and filtered based on their labels. In each post, there is a table of contents on the right tab.

Labels

The blog uses a labelling system to categorize and organize different posts. For example, there might be two posts with the same title (eg [IEM NAME]) but they will have different labels. On the right hand side, there is a list of all of them, and each post will also display its own.

These labels are used to denote the type of content in the post:
  • Reviews: Full coverage of the device/product with measurements, detailed explanations, and comprehensive comparisons. I try to cover the whole context of the product, which means I consider the price, brand history, public reception, and more. These reviews are written after at least 2 weeks of extensive use.
  • Impressions: Quick thoughts on the product with no defined structure. I usually cover things that stand out to me. These are short, to the point, and very subjective. These impressions are written after at least 3 days of extensive use.
  • Articles: Written essays or even stream of consciousness style posts that dive into any audio-related topic.
  • Music: Thoughts on music, albums, and other things that are related to audio but not the gear aspect of it.
